Our Story

Lavender Lane was created in 2018, when my father was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. It had been a passion of mine to create all natural, clean burning candles that are safe for you and your family to enjoy, and this was the perfect time to start.

When my father was told he was unable to work during his chemotherapy treatments, I made him my candle making partner “Dan the Candle Man”. We made candles together and all profits went to his chemo treatments. This gave him more time to spend with me, doing something fun to keep his mind off of his diagnosis. 

In 2020, at the start of the pandemic, my father passed away when I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter . After taking some time away, I decided that I wanted to continue making candles and also host an event at the Studio that could get friends, family, co-workers together, while making something that they could enjoy in their home. Just like my father and I did. 

Going forward, in his honor, a portion of the proceeds go to the Dana Farber Institute/ St. Jude's Children's Hospital at the end of each year.
